Sincerely about beauty, skin and cosmetics

Today we’ll talk about skin, beauty and cosmetics - topics that are always current and topics that every girl and woman care about. It doesn’t matter if you spend 5 minutes taking care of your skin or 35, no matter if you use makeup or not, the trend is set: women aim to look their best. And that’s fine :)

You know what, it’s hard to talk about beauty. And that’s not like this because someone might get offended or because we’re too extreme with our opinion. It’s like this because beauty is relative and subjective.

What I find beautiful might not be for the person sitting next to me. And the cliche is there - we have to always find the beauty around us - is kinda right, beauty is a phenomenon that we understand differently.

It’s hard to say if one thing is perfect. If we speak realistically, we can never use this word. Simply because nothing’s perfect - we can always find an imperfection, even the slightest.

But should we be literalists? And because I try more and more not to be, I’ll share my secret for perfect skin (or perfect as I imagine it).

It’s rare to find a person with skin that’s not acne prone, not dry, not oily, poreless and have this skin just like this… from the air :D If you’re one of those people: great!

Me, however, I’m not, like millions of other people. My skin changes a lot - sometimes it’s dry, sometimes it’s oily, and sometimes it’s both (it different areas) as weird as this sounds. But something is quite constant: my skin is prone to imperfections (and this might be a result to the tons of chocolate and sweets I eat :D).

I’m not one of those people who tend to skip skincare morning or night. And this is because of my mom who I’ve watched as a kid taking care of her skin. I still remember asking her why she puts creme and why she removes her eye makeup so gently… It’s a mark in my consciousness and I somehow naturally started taking care of my skin by the book.

But what changed a month ago?

I found the perfect hybrid - skincare met makeup. Effaclar Duo + Unifiant from La Roche-Posay has all the benefits of the Effaclar Duo + creme and it’s tinted, which makes foundation useless! It’s s 2 in 1 product, that’s easy to apply (I use a brush but you can try a sponge or your fingers) and a few seconds after your skin feels super fresh. Yes, the coverage is not full, but I don’t like the feeling of a mask and a light coverage is all you need in the everyday life, right ;)

Effaclar Duo + Unifiant reduces imperfections and scarring, the first results are visible in a week and the effect keeps getting better. It comes in 2 shades and you can find it in the bigger pharmacies.

How our skin looks depends a lot on how you treat it. And if beauty is one thing for you, and different for me, then a well treated kin looks beautiful universally. Yes, white cosmetics and makeup are a part of our daily life, and yes, everyone finds the products that work the best. But sometimes we find real little perls  in the sea of sometimes that we just want to share with the world. I’d love it if you share some of your finds ;)

Till next time,
