In the summertime we look at life through pink lenses.
Maybe because of the sun, bringing us more reasons to smile.
Maybe because of the summer adventures far away from the busy cities.
Maybe because of the time we spend with our friends and close ones outdoors.
Or isn't it a combination of all of the above?
Yes, it's because of all of it.
This is what we had in mind a few weeks ago when we got away from Plovdiv to our fave Sozopol.
A long weekend is all we ever needed to get a doze of sun, hot sand, the sound of the waves and people to talk to :)
Of course we couldn't stay away from the photosessions at sunset - the real reason we go by the sea :D
But that's the charm of our getaways - we prefer finding the quiet corners of the places we visit.
We prefer lonesome little streets away from the tourists.
This is what I understand as la vie en rose - the moments you realise you're truly living, living now, feeling everything around you: the flickering water, the moving clouds, the setting sun, the swinging boats... you even catch the clicking of the camera - the real pink life, I can live it all the time :)
Till next time,
