The time of my life

Written by

Hey!

Have you ever said “when time comes”?

Even if you haven’t, you’ve at least heard it :)

Actually time seems to be the measurement of our lives, don’t you think: we see the world through seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years; human development we measure with age; we have certain expectations from people who are a certain age and everyone of us knows that life is an hourglass that we cannot turn around for a restart.

And because reality has no restart button or a way to turn the sand grains around, we sometimes postpone.

We postpone risks.

We postpone braveness.

We postpone true living.

Because we start living when we stop feeling safe.

When we’re on stranger tides.

And we find new horizons, personal new horizons…

For all of this you don’t need the time to come.

Because time is you.

Because only you have your own sand grains that only you decide how to let go to the down side of the hourglass.

Some search for long fallen sand grains, others try to catch the ones that are far above.

But you can’t really feel the magic of “now” this way - because only the sand grains that move right in this very moment have a meaning.

They’re you now. You’re them now.

And now is your time.

Summer’s right around the corner and it’s the season of emotions.

Don’t stop to look ahead over your horizon.

And maybe just like this you’ll truly understand what it means to be human - because we were made not to vegetate, but to live.

And to take with full hands from the world’s challenges.

We cannot restart our life clock, but we can stop for a second and restart our minds…

Welcome to the other side,

where real life begins!

Till next time,

Victoria
